3. Data Collection and Third Party Services

Cal.com (online appointment booking)

We integrate the appointment booking platform Cal.com on our website (provider: Cal.com, Inc., 160 Greentree Dr, Dover, DE 19904, USA). When you book an appointment on our website, your information (name, email address, phone number, device information, error description and optionally uploaded damage photos) will be transferred to Cal.com. This transmission and subsequent storage serves to process and reserve the repair date (legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR - fulfillment of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures).

Stripe (reservation payment processing)

To process the deposit (€30 reservation fee) we use the payment service provider Stripe (provider: Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland). If you complete the booking through Cal.com using a credit card or other payment method supported by Stripe, your payment details will be processed directly in the embedded Stripe checkout form. Your credit card information is sent encrypted directly to Stripe. We never store credit card or payment data on our servers.

Your data will be transmitted to Stripe on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract processing). Further information about data protection at Stripe can be found at:https://stripe.com/privacy.

Tmpfiles.org (Temporary upload of damage photos)

If you upload a photo of the damage to your device when booking an appointment, this photo will be encrypted and transferred to the upload service Tmpfiles.org (tmpfiles.org) for temporary storage. The sole purpose of the upload is to enable our technicians to make an initial visual assessment of the damage in order to prepare the appropriate replacement part in good time. The image is cached on Tmpfiles.org and deleted by us after processing the process.

The legal basis for processing the optional damage photo is your express consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time in the future.

WhatsApp (direct contact & appointment request)

Our website offers the option of contacting us via WhatsApp (provider: WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland). When you click on our WhatsApp button, the app opens with a prepared message containing your device details and error description. This data will only be transferred to us when you send the message in your own WhatsApp app. The processing takes place to process your customer request (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR).
